The Brogit Festival, music for everyone, is a series of concerts of a solidarity nature that aims to raise awareness and make intellectual disability known in all its aspects. Promoted by the Fundació Els Joncs in collaboration with La Tornada, it extends to various cultural facilities in Girona during the first quarter of 2023 with the aim of raising funds to promote projects aimed at improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities.
From the Fundació Els Joncs and La Tornada we believe that it is important to disseminate the characteristics of the different types of people who make up the population and bring culture closer to groups with some type of difficulty. That is why we promote this project, which has the support of the Girona Provincial Council, as well as multiple town halls in the region and several sponsoring companies.
Throughout the three months of programming, the Brogit will host top-level artists such as Marina Rossell, Manu Guix or Miquel Gil. It will also host the premiere in Comarques Gironines of the new and long-awaited album by Guillem Roma or the new show by the leader of Els Pets Lluís Gavaldà, accompanied on the piano by Joan-Pau Chaves. The program is completed by Paula Grande, Joan Rovira or Les Anxovetes, who will offer the closing concert at the headquarters of the Fundació Els Joncs in Sarrià de Ter.
