On Thursday, April 25, 2024, the Els Joncs Foundation organized a charity dinner at Mas Marroch to raise funds and present the housing project for people with intellectual disabilities.
It began at ¼ of 9 with an aperitif at the Àgora and then we moved to the dining room where Mr. Dionís Poch, president of the Foundation, welcomed the almost 500 people who attended. Then Mr. Pere Parramon, deputy delegate of the central government, Mr. Miquel Noguer, president of the Girona Provincial Council, Ms. Maite Tixis, mayor of Vilablareix and Mr. Carles Campuzano, Minister of Social Rights of the Generalitat de Catalunya, spoke.
After dessert, Mr. Jesús Candel, patron of the Foundation, recalled the background of the project and introduced Mr. Ramon Ripoll who gave a brief explanation of its characteristics.
The dinner was hosted by actors Fel Faixedas and Carles Xurriguera and we had the support of the Mas Llunes de Garriguella (DO Empordà) and Albet i Noya de Sant Pau Ordal (DO Clàssic Penendès) wineries.
